Membership
We are delighted you have taken the time to find out more about us. We hope you will join us at beautiful Rutland Water.
We have three membership categories:
- Sailors - Everyone, with a disability or with none, experienced sailors or novice, young or old (our minimum age is 7 years). We have no upper age limit and have several sailing members in their 80s!
- Non sailors - Everyone, with or without a disability, who wants to help shoreside and/or indoors but doesn`t want to sail.
- Groups - For one-off visits or for those coming along for our Special Needs sailing sessions, a daily membership rate is applicable.

First and second visits are free to give you the chance to 'try us out' and find out whether sailing and RS really are for you. After those free visits we hope that you will sign up to become a member.
Membership Fees
Depending on what sort of Member you wish to join as (Sailing, Non-Sailing, Youth Member etc) Membership Fees are between £35 - £75. There are no additional charges for sailing - that's it for the year! We also have additional membership structures for those engaged in the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme and for able bodied youth members who help out.
