Dates and Times
Weather-permitting, Rutland Sailability holds regular sailing sessions on each Thursday (10.00 to 15.00) and Saturday (09.30 to 12.00) from the beginning of April to the end of October.
During the winter (non-sailing) season we still meet on a Thursday where we:
Carry out maintenance on our boats and equipment.
Run land based training courses for our members.
Have a programme of guest speakers and presenters on everything from a Ukulele Band to Sailing in the South Atlantic!
Have social events or just a chat over a coffee in the Sailing Club canteen.
We try to ensure that we provide boats that cater for the differing needs of our members. Some of our boats are perfect for cruising and provide a good stable base from which to sail, while others are great for racing at club level or on national circuits. Here are some details about the boats we sail.
Your Sailing Goals - You Choose
You can come and learn to sail or just enjoy being in a boat, how far you go is your choice. There is an opportunity to progress through many of the RYA levels of competence from pottering about to racing.
